Who I Am
Early in her journey, Coach Milam witnessed first hand the importance of effective school leadership on student academic success and turning around failing schools. She quickly realized that quality teachers don't leave schools or districts, but they leave bad school leadership. As an educational leader who has put in the hard work, Coach Milam understands the demands and expectations placed on today's school leaders. She is committed to executive and leadership coaching that aligns with your specific goals, transformative growth potential, and fostering resilience.
Jessi Milam, Ed.D. has over 20 years of executive and leadership experience. She began her educational career teaching elementary science and social studies. Milam has served as a Teacher, School Counselor, Principal, and Superintendent. Coach Milam has worked in varied school districts from large, urban to small, rural all across Texas.
Coach Milam holds a M.Ed. in Counseling and Human Development from Lamar University, an M.A. in Communications - Organizational Leadership from the University of Alabama - Tuscaloosa, and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership form Lamar University.
Coach Milam has been featured in Texas Monthly and nominated as National Life Group's LifeChanger of the Year.
